Description:
Welded mesh gabions are made from welded low carbon steel wire that meets tensile strength standards and is treated by hot dipped galvanisation or aluminised zinc to ensure a longer life against corrosion and other weather effects, especially when gabions are used in saline and highly polluted environments. Faster and cheaper to install compared to woven mesh gabions, more rigid than woven mesh, resulting in a more uniform finish when constructed and no pre-stretching required.
